Fear of Crime Is INCREASING

A Privy Council study—commissioned by the federal government—found that rising crime in the GTA is driving more Canadians, including urban voters in Liberal strongholds, to consider owning firearms for self-defence. Yes, even in the heart of anti-gun Toronto, the fear is real—and growing.

One post in an Ottawa Moms Facebook group even sparked dozens of supportive comments from women looking to get licensed and protect their families. These aren’t “gun people”—these are regular, urban Canadians who’ve hit a breaking point.

After decades of emotionally charged anti-gun rhetoric, reality is starting to hit home—literally. Now, even some of the Liberals’ most reliable voters are realizing they’ve been sold a lie. And as support for self-defence grows, so does frustration with a government that wants to deny you the right to protect yourself.
