Developmentally disabled sisters found dead

Police say the apparent cause of death for the two sisters is a faulty furnace. Firefighters recorded temperatures in the apartment at more than 104 degrees, police said. It was so hot inside that officers had to disable it at the circuit box after they were unable to turn it off at the control panel.
