Team Profiles: Set G Episode 6 | Kommo-o Scrafty

Episode 6 of Team Profiles: Set G will be about Kommo-o Scrafty.

Kommo-o was introduced in Generation 7 as the pseudo-legendary for the generation. Kommo-o, when it was announced, was seen generally as a disappointment for Pokemon from the outside looking in due to it being resisted by the new type they just introduced in the previous generation, Fairy, even though Kommo-o had a unique typing in Dragon/Fighting. However, typing aside, Kommo-o was an impressive midrange pseudo-legendary that could play a carry role or a wall role as a midrange.

Like I mention in the video, Kommo-o can be played defensively as a physical Pokemon or offensively as a special Pokemon. In this video, I cover Kommo-o as a special Pokemon.

Kommo's partner for this team is Scrafty. It may seem strange to pair Scarfty up with Kommo-o, considering they both suffer from the same struggles against Fairy types, but this is because because you're playing Kommo-o special, you won't have a physical Fighting move, and so to compensate for that, you pair special Kommo-o with a physical fighting Pokemon to balance out the void.
