How To Track Your Google Business Ranking For FREE in 2025?

First, head over to a tool called Search Atlas. Once you've signed up, you want to import your data from your Google Business Profile. I've selected the Google Profile of one of our clients, a Garden Rooms Installer.

After that, you want to click on Heat Map keywords and start entering all the keywords related to the services that you want your listing to be found for in the map pack. Once you've entered your keywords, set the radius to your Heat Map. These pins on the map will show how spread out the data points are, but you can adjust these to pull them closer or further apart depending on how granular you want the analysis to be.

You can do this by adding more layers. Usually, two or three layers are enough. Now you can see our client's listing is number one across the board in the three-mile radius. If you want to analyse the bigger region, you can go ahead and edit the heat map to expand the radius.
