In this trading tutorial, I discuss everything you learn at top trading firms in 30 minutes. I interned at 3 banks/trading firms: Cantor Fitzgerald, Morgan Stanley & Susquehanna International Group (SIG).

I ended up taking my first job out of school at SIG trading. I was a quantitative trader. I started off interning on commodities (natural gas trading) and then moved on to derivatives (calls & puts). I go through some career advice, interview questions and much more!

The goal of this trading tutorial is to explain everything you need to know about working at an investment bank (like JP Morgan or Goldman Sachs) or a trading firm (like Jane Street, DE Shaw, Susquehanna International Group or Citadel Securities).

I explain WHY I wanted to be a trader in the first place. I love gambling. Taking a job as a trader is essentially signing up to gamble other people's money. I'm also a passionate sports bettor & poker player.

I go through my day to day as a trader at Susquehanna & Morgan Stanley. I explain the perks of being a quantitative trader. There's two main types of trading activity: market making and prop trading. I was more on the market maker side of things in my time as a quantitative trader.
