We need to talk about the growing pressure people feel to sacrifice their health in the name of environmental narratives.

I work with people who are deeply suffering—and what I’m seeing is that some are afraid to eat the foods that actually support their recovery, like meat and other nutrient-dense options, because of the message that it’s “bad for the planet.”

There is plenty of research showing this narrative is not as black-and-white as it’s made out to be.

If you’re putting your mental health first, you shouldn’t feel ashamed of the foods that help you heal.
