Stock Your Pantry with Bulk Mixes - Spice Cake Recipe

Today, we are building a bulk spice cake mix for the pantry. These bulk mixes are a time saver in the kitchen. These mixes are all of the dry ingredients needed to bake a cake. Instead of picking up a single cake mix at the store, Make it Homestead and place many cakes worth of product on your pantry shelf.

Makes about 1/2 gal mix
3.75c. Flour
3 c. Brown sugar
6T cornstarch
6 t. Baking powder
3/4 t. Salt
1.5 t. Ginger
6T. Pumpkin pie spice

Recipe:
2.5 c. Mix
1/2 c milk
2 eggs
1t. Vanilla
1/2 c. Butter, softened
Preheat oven 350

Add eggs, milk, and vanilla, beat
Cream butter and mix until fluffy.
Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Grease and flour pans.

Round pans bake 30 min
Cupcakes bake 15 min or until done.
