Russian Strike on Sumy: 99 Injured in Attack on Residential Areas and Hospital Facilities

A devastating attack by Russian forces targeted residential areas and infrastructure in the city of Sumy. Several apartment buildings, a school, and children's hospital facilities were damaged. The smoke covered the city skyline, and emergency services rushed to respond.

According to the city council, the number of injured has risen to 99, including 76 adults and 23 children. A school building was partially destroyed, and fires broke out in apartments within a five-story residential building. Restoration of electricity, heating, water, and gas supply is currently underway.
