Forest fires are raging in the southeastern part of South Korea. 9,000 people are currently battling the fire, and a large number of helicopters have been deployed to extinguish the fire.

Almost 3,000 people have been evacuated, and the fire has destroyed or damaged 162 buildings. Four firefighters lost their lives during the extinguishing operation.
