Lenten Mission with Fr. Isaac: The Fires of Divine Justice: Assisting Souls in Purgatory

Purgatory is REAL and SEVERE! It is a place where souls in a state of Grace, but not yet fully purified, undergo intense suffering to atone for their sins. It is important to offer prayers and Masses for the Poor Souls, especially Gregorian Masses, and acts of Charity for the relief of these souls. Purgatory is a manifestation of God's Justice and His Mercy. We need to strive for holiness in this life to avoid the suffering of purgatory and to assist the holy souls through spiritual works of mercy.
