Is The Gorge (2025) secretly a modern The Legend of Zelda?

While watching The Gorge on Apple TV, I started to see a lot of parallels between the world and monsters within various titles in The Legend of Zelda. Are these similarities intentional? Or am I just too obsessed with Zelda?
