Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are getting married this summer

After nearly two years of engagement, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and fiancee Lauren Sanchez have sent out their wedding invitations, according to Page Six magazine. The couple will tie the knot this summer in Venice, Italy.

Bezos, 61, and Sanchez, 55, got engaged in May 2023, four years after the American billionaire ended his 25-year marriage to Mackenzie Scott and the same year Sanchez split from her husband Patrick Whitesell.

The marriage ceremony of the couple is scheduled to be held in June on Bezos' $500 million superyacht Coro off the coast of Italy.

While there were earlier rumors about their wedding in December in Colorado, but the owner of the Washington Post denied this news.

Bezos proposed to Sanchez with a 20-carat diamond ring worth $2.5 million. In an interview with Vogue, Sanchez admitted that he didn't notice the excitement for a while.

After the engagement, Bezos and Sanchez held their party on their luxury yacht in Positano, Italy, with the presence of stars such as Bill Gates, Ari Emanuel, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, Queen Rania Abdullah of Jordan and Kris Jenner.
