Intense Clashes and Heavy Losses Reported in Kursk Region

Chechen commander Major General Apti Alaudinov has reported that Ukrainian forces have incurred substantial losses in their efforts to maintain control over parts of Russia's Kursk region. According to Alaudinov, Ukraine's total irrecoverable losses have exceeded one million, with an additional 70,000 soldiers killed in the past seven months in this sector alone. He suggests that these efforts are aimed not at achieving victory but at securing leverage for future negotiations. Alaudinov described the casualty figures as "astronomical."
