After a reunion in the colony of Horizon, the Illusive Man forwards Shepard three more dossiers to complete Shepard's team of ever-talented specialists to prepare for taking on the Collectors.

Haestrom:

Dossier: Tali: Shepard travels to the geth-infested world of Haestrom to recruit Tali'Zorah. After fighting through waves of geth forces and dealing with the planet’s dangerous solar radiation, Shepard locates Tali and helps her complete her mission of gathering data on Haestrom's deteriorating sun. With her work finished and her team mostly lost, Tali agrees to join Shepard's squad.

Omega:

Side Mission: FBA Couplings: Shepard helps Kenneth and Gabby, the Normandy's engineers, by acquiring new FBA couplings to improve ship efficiency.

Loyalty Mission: Samara: The Ardat-Yakshi: Samara reveals she has been hunting her rogue daughter, Morinth, a deadly Ardat-Yakshi who kills lovers through an uncontrollable mind meld. Shepard helps Samara track Morinth to Afterlife, luring her in by gaining her interest. Once inside Morinth’s apartment, Shepard resists her hypnotic influence until Samara arrives. After an intense biotic duel, Shepard helps Samara kill Morinth, securing her loyalty.

Amada:

Side Mission: Normandy Crash Site: Shepard visits the crash site of the original Normandy, paying respects to fallen crew members and recovering their dog tags.

2175 Aeia:

Loyalty Mission: Jacob: The Gift of Greatness: Jacob receives a distress signal from his father’s ship, lost for years. On the jungle-covered planet of Aeia, Shepard finds the crew still alive but suffering from neurological degradation due to contaminated food. Jacob’s father, Ronald Taylor, took control and ruled over the survivors like a dictator. After exposing his crimes, Shepard allows Jacob to decide his father’s fate, securing Jacob’s trust.

Tuchanka:

Side Mission: Killing Pyjaks: Shepard assists the krogan by eliminating pesky pyjaks (space vermin) that are raiding food supplies.

Loyalty Mission: Grunt: Rite of Passage: To earn his place among the krogan, Grunt undertakes a traditional Rite of Passage. Shepard and Grunt fight waves of deadly thresher maws and hostile krogan warriors in an arena. Proving his strength, Grunt is formally accepted into Clan Urdnot, solidifying his loyalty to Shepard.
