The Lady and the Monster (1944)

Based on Curt Siodmak’s novel Donovan’s Brain. When Dr. Mueller (Erich von Stroheim) preserves the brain of a deceased millionaire, the organ begins to exert a sinister influence on those around it—especially his assistant, Patrick (Richard Arlen). As Patrick falls under the brain’s control, his fiancée (Vera Ralston) struggles to save him from its growing power.
