We've had some donations. Some personal and some to book of ours. But we are not out of the woods yet.

We are still $180 short of our $500 goal.

Although we are immensely grateful for friends and family who have come through for us and which allowed us to keep our utilities from getting shut off, we need to sustain a living while I am unemployed and this is how we do it.

Being unemployed in the 21st century is much different than when you were unemployed last century. It's no longer just about handing out applications and getting interviews. I've sent my portfolio and website over to hundreds of companies and agencies who claim to be looking for UX designers and I have a stack of auto-response canned rejection letters I could wallpaper this back wall with.
