Bronwyn Holm - Why The Earth's Soil Is Dying & What To Do About It

Earthfood, created by Bronwyn Holm, is a 100% certified organic biofertiliser and soil conditioner designed to enhance plant growth and soil health.

It is powered by live microbes, which are central to its effectiveness. The product aims to regenerate and preserve soil by unlocking nutrients, locking in atmospheric nitrogen and carbon, and improving plant vigour, leading to increased yields of up to 40%.

It’s made in Australia using a unique, patented process that suspends the microbes in a dormant state, allowing them to remain viable for over 10 years in the bottle. When mixed with water, these microbes "wake up" and begin working in the soil or plant cells, requiring 70% less water due to improved soil structure.

Bronwyn Holm, based in Brisbane, Queensland, launched Earthfood through her company, Bronwyn Holm Design Consultants, in 2015, building on a family legacy in soil care that dates back to her great-great-grandfather, Eggert Holm, a viticulturist in the late 19th century.

The product is marketed as safe for bees, frogs, reefs, pets, and children, with no negative impact on plants, lawns, or waterways—eliminating issues like soil compaction, acidification, or nitrogen runoff. It’s suitable for all gardeners, from small-scale pot plants to large farms, and is shipped globally.
