Hamirpur, UP: Officer’s Wife Confronts Tractor Driver, Creates Scene After Minor Collision

A dramatic altercation unfolded on the Kanpur-Sagar National Highway near Rani Laxmibai Tiraha in Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh, after a tractor rear-ended a car. The woman, identified as the wife of Deputy Commissioner of Industries Ravi Verma, stepped out, grabbed the tractor driver by his collar, and shouted at him in the middle of the road.

She was reportedly traveling with her father when the incident occurred. The heated argument led to a brief traffic jam, drawing public attention.

Hamirpur Police stated that no official complaint was filed, and both parties settled the matter after the tractor owner compensated for the damages.
