Robo Aleste (SCD - 1993) playthrough on Cruel

Cruel - the highest difficulty level.
The Omake that becomes available in the Options screen after beating the game does not work, just displaying a black screen and locking up the console to where I had to reset it or power it off. It's supposedly some artwork. I don't know if it's my copy. I bought it new back around when it was released.

One of my favorite shooters. Unfortunately the naming of the entries in the Aleste franchise for the US releases is all over the place -- the other US releases in the series being Power Strike on Master System, MUSHA on Genesis, Space Megaforce on SNES. Otherwise, after playing this, I likely would have been on the lookout for the other games back around when they were released.
The end boss music is Concerto for Two Violins: I. Vivace by Johann Sebastian Bach.

I had multiple failures on some bosses. If that's the case, only the first failure and then the successful attempt have time stamps.
