Dalton Danger @ Alabama Knights - 3/22/2025 - NDFL

The Dalton Danger (0-0) traveled to Fairfield, AL on Saturday, March 22nd 2025, to take on the Alabama Knights (0-0).

A fumbled kickoff return by the Danger gave the Knights great starting field position which they capitalized on immediately with a touchdown pass on their first play, to take an early lead, 0-6. This however would be the only points the Knights would score all game.

On the following offensive drive, QB Tre Carter scored on a 28-yard keeper, and RB Ced Edwards converted the 2-pt attempt, to put the Danger out front, 8-6.
Later in the 1st quarter, Carter struck again on the ground, increasing the lead to 14-6. The Danger 2-pt attempt failed.
In the 2nd quarter, Danger DL Tyrie McCartney scooped and scored on a fumble recovery in Knights territory, to put the Danger in the lead 22-6.
Mid-way through the 3rd quarter, as frustrations mounted on the Knights sideline, several players committed personal fouls at the end of a Danger offensive play, leading to a fight that ultimately culminated in the game being called to an early end.
The Danger would earn the first victory of their 2025 NDFL campaign, 22-6.
