Few films epitomize the 90s quite like The Fifth Element. The combination of science fiction with eternal truths and spirituality make for a fascinating mix. The balance of action, drama, and comedy is also quite enjoyable. We will be looking at the story as well as musical moments from the score by Eric Serra. Serra composed a number of scores for filmmaker, Luc Bessen, and this film is a great example of the teamwork between Serr and Besson.
