MSNBC: Protesters Rally Outside NYC Tesla Dealership

WITT: “Meantime, this breaking news to share. Demonstrators are gathered at a Tesla dealership in New York City to protest against Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Tesla stock is plummeting as frustration grows against Musk’s role in the Trump Administration. NBC’s Maya Eaglin is joining me right from outside that protest. So, maya, what brought folks out today? What kind of pressure do they hope to inflict on Tesla?”

EAGLIN: “Hey, Alex. Yeah, we are here in the meatpacking district of Manhattan, New York City. If you look behind me, hundreds of people are out here right now outside this. Tesla dealership with signs. They’re chanting, there’s drums. And this is being called a Tesla takedown. It’s being organized by a group called the action network. And they say their hope is to use their First Amendment. Rights of freedom of speech and freedom of protest to really explain to the public and educate the public of why they are disappointed.

>> Elon Musk, but doge and the dismantling of things like the Department of Education. The folks I spoke to said this is what.

>> Believe is the best way to communicate their disappointment. With the government. I want you to take a listen to some more of what the protestors on the ground here had to say. Today.
