**Solar Panels on Knotty Nature: The Struggle and Triumph of Off-Grid Living**

After struggling with finding the right materials for our DIY solar arch, we finally found a skilled tradesman, Dimos, who helped us bring our dream of solar power to life on our sailing catamaran. With his experience and attention to detail, the solar arch was crafted perfectly for Knotty Nature. Leaving Varkiza felt liberating, even though the anchorage had poor holding, and our tiny home dragged a few times. We found time to hike to a WWII bunker on the coast and even got a birthday tattoo with SV Zuri. With a little elbow grease, we mounted the solar panels and secured the arch. Knotty now looks amazing with her new solar setup, and we feel great about being more off-grid and less reliant on diesel. Where will this new freedom take us?
