March 23, 2025, Ephesians 2:1-9, 5:1-2 (Live)

Romans 1:16, power of salvation onto EVERYONE that believes.
1 Corinthians 15:9, Romans 1:16, Paul persecuted the church of God in his former life, but now he was not ashamed to share Christ with others.
Ephesians 2:1-3, the former children of wrath. Only Christ can redeem.
Ephesians 2:4, God gives the invitation to salvation. It is His desire that everyone will respond to the invitation.
Ephesians 2:5, grace: infinite goodness of God accomplished by Jesus Christ on the cross (He paid for our debt in full).
Ephesians 2:6, Ephesians 1:3, Christ is the reason for all meaningful things.
Ephesians 2:7, there is no pleasure in completely destroying His creation, but because of His love, He takes His creation back from corruption. In order to do that, He had to fulfill His own law, and accomplish the work on the cross.
Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 4:4-5, Romans 11:6, grace is a gift given from God, it is not obtained by intrinsic traits or merits of a person
Ephesians 5:1, John 1:18, children imitate loving parents. Jesus obediently mimicked His Father. God's desire is for His children to also follow after Him.
Ephesians 5:2, 1 John 4:19, meaningful love comes from Christ. This is where the children get meaningful love from. People were stumbling towards their death, but Christ turned them back and redeemed them, because He loved them. Children of Christ can also love like He did, when they share Christ with others, so others will not continue stumbling towards a bad ending.
