"House Bill 4163 and 4164, The Defend The Guard Act, would prevent our governor from sending our national guard overseas to active theaters of combat UNLESS the United States Congress officially declares war.

If you want to get involved, please contact your local representative, tell them about HB 4163 and 4164, and follow up with them to make sure they're following up on this legislation on your behalf.

Call the members of the Government Operations Committee and tell them that you want this legislation to be heard! Call the chair and tell him that you would like to see him schedule a hearing for this bill and hear proper testimony for this legislation!

Lastly, be persistent! We The People must act to ensure our legislators are properly acting on our behalf, and it is our duty to persist until we are adequately heard!"
