2 Chronicles 20:17 New King James Version
17 You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.”

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY DEAR ONES!!!

You know guys, I have to agree with this morning's devotional writer, that “being still”, especially being still before God isn't easy. It can seem very impossible come on and as he says the biggest reason is one of the most basic laws of physics that says, “objects in motion tend to stay in motion.” But I believe there's a bit more to it. I believe that Satan uses what's in the world out there, to distract us from what we should be doing for the Lord. He sometimes even uses the things we do for the Lord as a distraction, otherwise known as the distraction of legalism, to keep us from really knowing what it means to love and follow God.

I think that's why this question from this morning's devotional is so thought provoking to me right now. Why it stirs up so much in me and gives me a desire to want to focus more on being quiet before God, and I had to share this question with you today. Please read this question carefully, and I pray that God speaks to you through it.

What keeps you from being quiet before God?

How will you make time to intentionally be still?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from Psalm 46, through this vlog I'd like to share with you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you helps you to recognize the value of real stillness before God. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and learn this precious truth for yourself! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I pray that you not only learn how to recognize the value of stillness, standing still, settling your heart, mind, and soul before the Lord, with whatever you're facing, but be willing to listen to that “still small voice” from God. Ask God to teach you how to be quiet before Him period to give yourself that plenty of space and grace as you sit still before God and choose to rest in Him. Ask God to help you learn how to tune out the noises in the world. The cares, chaos, concerns, and all the distractions that Satan puts in your path, be willing to wait out the waves, let them wash past you, to settle you into being quiet before almighty God. Be still and rest in God!

UNTIL MONDAY:

HAVE A SERENELY BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
