Synopsis
Segundo López (Severiano Población), an illiterate and 'free-thinking' middle-aged man from Extremadura, decides to go to Madrid to live the adventure of the capital and enjoy the money from the sale of an inherited family business. There he befriends a street boy, a street urchin called "El Chirri" (Martín Ramírez), and together, turned into "boss" and "secretary", the two friends live a myriad of urban adventures. Meanwhile, they meet Marta (Ana Mariscal), a sick and depressed young woman, who stays in the same ramshackle boarding house as they do.
