Drug-Fueled Attack at Illinois Nursing Home: Chainsaw Assault on Residents and Police

In a bizarre incident at an Illinois nursing home, 41-year-old Daniel Escalera, under the influence of drugs, broke in with a chainsaw and began threatening pensioners.

Police arrived and attempted to subdue him with a Taser, but it had no effect.

Escalera then attempted to attack the officers with the chainsaw, leading to his eventual shooting.
