ZALA Lancet Systems Disrupt Ukrainian Krab Self-Propelled Guns

Since the beginning of the Special Military Operation (SVO), ZALA Lancet loitering munitions have successfully destroyed over 50 Polish-made AHS Krab self-propelled artillery units (SAU). Ukraine was the first country to import Krab SAUs, purchasing 54 units in 2022 for $700 million, with an additional 18 donated by Poland.

Originally designed for long-range shooting, Krab SAUs were considered among the most effective artillery weapons due to their affordability, range, and battlefield survivability. However, during the SVO, they have struggled against ZALA Lancet reconnaissance and strike systems. Russian forces actively deploy Lancets to neutralize Krab units from 30-40 kilometers away, often before the crews can position them for combat.
