Matt Walsh: "One of the problems, one of the ways this Gnosticism took hold is that there were many Christians who do not understand their own faith and do not know how to talk about it. And so, for example, you will hear—and this is a quote that has been circulating on social media for years and years, often mistakenly attributed to C.S. Lewis, sometimes to G.K. Chesterton—the quote goes something like: 'I do not have a soul. I am a soul, I have a body.' That is the quote that is often seen. And this is not something C.S. Lewis would ever say—something so stupid.

Because the thing is, and you hear this from Christians sometimes, but no, that is not correct. It is not that you are a soul and you have a body. You are your body and your soul. There is a unity between the two. You cannot separate them. We tend to think that my body is some kind of vessel or vehicle that my soul is driving around, pulling levers inside my body. That is not at all the case. What I am, what you see—my body—is who I am, and my soul is, in a mysterious way, inseparably united to my body. It is part of me, it is part of who I am.

And this is one of the reasons why, when we turn to trans activists, they now do not like to talk about souls, even though that is what they believe, as we have covered. However, what they will say—and this is their way of saying 'soul'—is, 'Well, sometimes you have a man who has a woman's brain.' And they will start pointing to all these studies that supposedly show that some men have the brains of women.

And this is why, you know, I do not really care about studies. I am not a big fan of studies. Most of the time, I know we want to sound like we are smart, and so when someone mentions a study, we want to throw another study back—it turns into a kind of study food fight. 'Well, here is a study.' In my opinion, 95% of the time when someone mentions a study and says, 'Haven't you read this study?' I say, 'No, I have not read it. I know, based on what you just said, that it is completely false. I do not even need to read it. I do not need to read it.'

Any study that claims to show that a man has the brain of a woman is completely false. I do not care if this study was funded with $50 million, if it took 70 years, if they had 10,000 people—it does not matter. Because what is the definition of a man's brain? It is the brain that is inside a man's head. That is, by definition, a man's brain."
