Combat Operations of the T-72B3M Tank Crew of the 20th Guards Combined Arms Army in the LPR

During combat operations in the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone in the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), crews of T-72B3M tanks from the 20th Guards Combined Arms Army, part of the West group of forces, successfully targeted and destroyed camouflaged positions, a UAV control point, and concentrations of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel.

Demonstrating courage and determination, tank units have been actively striking military assets, including armored vehicles and enemy manpower. In a recent operation, reconnaissance efforts uncovered key targets in the Northern Military District in the LPR. Upon receiving target coordinates, the tank crews quickly moved into firing positions.

Employing 125 mm high-explosive fragmentation shells, the crews engaged targets up to 10 kilometers away. Real-time adjustments and impact assessments were conducted by UAV operators, ensuring effective targeting while conserving ammunition.

Following their engagements, tank crews repositioned to avoid potential counter-battery fire or drone attacks. Equipped with advanced protection systems, including electronic warfare capabilities and enhanced dynamic protection, they maintained operational safety.

Throughout the SMO, the collaboration between tank crews and UAV operators has enabled sustained fire operations against enemy positions. Utilizing terrain features for cover, they conduct precise strikes, contributing significantly to continual advances against Ukrainian forces. As a result of their strategic operations, the units are systematically clearing and occupying strongholds previously held by the enemy, with tank crews conducting missions around the clock and prioritizing fortifications and combat equipment, including foreign-made systems.
