Tourist booed for climbing sacred Mayan pyramid in Mexico

A 38-year-old German tourist violated restrictions at Mexico's Chichen Itza archaeological complex on Thursday (March 20) by climbing the sacred Mayan pyramid, El Castillo, according to the National Institute of Anthropology. The man was eventually escorted off the site for his safety.
