The Biggest Engine Lincoln Ever Produced | 1968 Lincoln Continental 462 Coupe Review - Beards n Cars

The Lincoln Continental was the Ford groups' answer to beating Cadillac at their own game on sales, and the way they went about doing so made a lot of sense: Offering everything optional on a Cadillac - as standard on a Continental. And by the mid 1960s Lincoln was already moving toward a more subtle and classy style compared to the opulent excess of the 1950s American car scene. The ironic backfire of this tactic was that people who bought one loved it so much that they didn't need to buy the inevitable facelifts thereafter!...

This particular example is my own 1968 Continental 462 Coupe, so let's take a deeper look at why these cars were so remarkable for their time, why it became my 'Car of The Year' 2022, and why I love mine so much!
