The video discusses international documents, the right of self-determination, and emphasizes unity among all people.
[40:46-42:16]
The speaker introduces key international documents recognized by democratic governments, such as the International Covenant of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
......... I want to grab something here. This is an example. I think I have it handy. do. I do. I have the paperwork handy, but it's just going to take me a little bit. I got pals. It's not like something I ever read, by the way, But this is actually an international document, One of a few goodies. And I'll just read some stuff out of this, because there's some good stuff in this. So let's just say, for example, all democratic governments came to a certain body that they all recognize each other as united within their nations, And they declared certain international documents, like the International Covenant of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, for example. Just because that's the one I got in my hand. There's also the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Rights of Indigenous People, the Rights of the Child and blah, blah blah. But these are things that they're actually stating. So these guys actually have an organization where they're saying they're the United Nations.
[43:09-44:22]
The speaker explains that all people have the right of self-determination to freely determine their political status and pursue economic, social, and cultural development.
So let's just say, for example- I'm just going to read the first 1 All peoples have the right of self-determination. by virtue of that right, They freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development. So it says all people, they have the right of self-determination. So, right there, self-determination, Every person has the right to be able to self-determine whatever they want for their existence. By virtue of that right, they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic status, social and cultural development. so everybody has the right for self-determination and to freely pursue their own economic, social and cultural development. that should be awesome, because you know that actually should mean like everybody should have hundreds of thousand dollars at their disposal to develop themselves politically, to, to you know, truly have an aware understanding of what political status they want to freely pursue, not just to be aware but to actually pursue their economic, which is like your family.
[52:37-54:05]
The speaker wraps up by emphasizing unity and shared humanity, encouraging a sense of connection beyond national identities.
in this paper called the international covenant on economic social and cultural rights So, I hope you guys liked that one. ......... Laura, awesome. Gotta run. Love you, Laura. Thanks for tuning in. Thanks for the questions. Much love and respect. All right, y'all. So yeah, and that's about it. This rant was all about unity. Bring it back full circle. We all got souls, you know, in our bodies, our human bodies. They got a soul inside there. Guess what? Not your first rodeo, son or daughter or man or woman or family. It's not your first soul rodeo on this planet. So to even just to be feeling that, oh, I'm, like, I'm, quote-unquote, European, or, quote-unquote, Japanese, or, quote-unquote, American, or, quote-unquote, Mexican, or, quote-unquote, Colombian, or, quote-unquote, Brazilian, or, quote-unquote, Portuguese, or, quote-unquote, what other word you want to use to divide us? It doesn't matter because I lost my train of thought with all that quote-unquote. But it's all about unity anyway. ......... But anyway, guys, I just want to say I love you.
