NBC26 Storm Shield Weather Forecast

High pressure will build into the area overnight. After some patchy light snow or flurries we'll see a mixture of clouds & stars....temps will drop into the teens. On Tuesday....some sunshine will give way to clouds & perhaps a few flurries as a weak disturbance moves in from the northwest. Wednesday......one of the busiest travel days of the year.....will be controlled by high pressure. Sun & clouds along with cold temps are expected. Thanksgiving looks mainly quiet & chilly with gusty winds. A few lake effect snow showers or flurries are possible....especially near the lake. Warmer weather arrives on Friday along with the chance for rain. Temps will climb into the 40s....the warmest weather in over two weeks!!
