Dry Needling Courses for Healthcare Providers: Dry Needling 3:
Intricate Art Dry Needling 3 is a 2-day, 16-hour advanced course on Dry Needling in clinical practice for a wide variety of impairments, with specific focus on implementing our unique autonomic nervous system-centered approach. Instead of focusing on how to needle certain structures, like we do in DN 1 and 2, in this course we discuss and practice treating certain conditions, such as post-surgical dysfunction, palsies, scar hypomobility, plantar fasciitis, headaches, and more. Prior DN experience is required.

The course begins with a review of safety, current evidence-based research and advanced physiology. DN 3 focuses on all parts of the body and all aspects of DN. This course is geared towards the practitioner who may feel confident needling specific structures, but would like to become a more efficient and effective needler in the clinic.

Throughout the course we demonstrate and discuss our unique autonomic nervous system-centered approach focused on depressing sympathetic activity, elevating parasympathetic activity, and achieving autonomic nervous system homeostasis. You will walk away with a deep understanding of our needling methodology and how to help any impairment with dry needling, including why electric auricular vagus nerve needling is a key to success.

The gut-brain axis and the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, key players of the autonomic nervous system, are strongly and positively affected by thoughtful needling. You will learn why. Electrical needling is discussed and you will learn why it increases efficacy, pain relief, and comfort of treatment. Advanced neurophysiology is discussed at length in regard to utilizing thoughtful dry needling to positively affect our autonomic nervous system and regulate it toward homeostasis. The key to health.

The primary method of learning for this course centers on the hands-on, clinical application of dry needling with partners. We will review clinical anatomy and practice dry needling of each tissue, system and impairment covered throughout the course.
