Born and raised in Ireland, Sofia has firsthand experience with compulsive eating – and more importantly, what it feels like to be permanently free from it. After healing her own relationship with food, she moved to London at 20 to deepen her research into eating disorder recovery, trained as a breath-worker, and founded self-help support groups for women struggling with compulsive eating.

Born and raised in Ireland, Sofia moved to London England at the age of twenty after healing her own eating disorder. She did further research into eating disorder recovery and trained as a breath-worker in '93 - '94 before setting up self help support groups for compulsive eating women. She has written several self-help books, novels and her autobiography. She currently lives in Wales.
