Office of Inspector General audit finds several problems with Tequesta's sidewalk project

The Office of the Inspector General conducted an audit into the Village of Tequesta’s Sidewalks Rehabilitation and Construction contract and found several problems.  A complaint sent to the OIG had claimed village officials were corrupt. Investigators found no indicators of public corruption but found weaknesses when it came to compliance with payment, permitting, and inspection process.
