CALAVERAS COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS 4/27/2021: NEW HEALTH OFFICER DR RENE RAMIREZ

This is the meeting where the current Health Officer, Dr. Rene Ramirez, who resides in FRESNO COUNTY, was hired. I think since he is the ONE and only who was there in the beginning and still in the job, should be called on to SPEAK TO ALL THE MEDICAL POLICIES he endorsed. Including vaccinations, and Remdesivir. WHAT ABOUT IVERMECTIN SIR?

Agenda Item #16:

Public Health Services (ID # 6035) 1) Authorize the Board Chair to sign an Agreement with René Ramirez, M.D., to serve as the Calaveras County Health Officer for the period of April 27, 2021 through June 30, 2022 for the not-to-exceed amount of $194,133.38 and; 2) Adopt a
Resolution appointing René Ramirez, M.D., as the Calaveras County Health Officer, effective April 27, 2021 through June 30, 2022, in line with the aforementioned Agreement and; 3) Authorize the Director of Health and Human Services to enter into amendments to the Agreement, so long as it does not modify the not-to-exceed value of the Agreement.
