If I don’t want to be intentionally demoralized & disgusted – I have to watch only Old movies or tv. All new movies or tv are shit. Just like All new music is shit, and old music is superior – because they reflect the culture of their time.
So in order to not have a spiritually degrading experience while watching something to pass the time, you actually have to do some time-traveling with your media selections.
This is just the latest example of something I watch while enjoying a meal. I’ve already been through a lot of the classic shows from the 60’s. Soon I think I will download the Rawhide series or The Rifleman.
