Two Martians, Deimos (Carroll O’Connor) and Phobos (Barry Morse), arrive on Earth to study human behavior—specifically, the nature of murder. Using a time-manipulating device, they repeatedly rewind and observe a crime of passion unfolding in a hotel lobby, analyzing every detail with scientific detachment. However, their experiment takes unexpected turns as they struggle to comprehend the irrationality of human emotions.
