Recruiting is sales! I can’t say this enough.

You have to present the role well and sell the opportunity. How you do this should be tailored to everything you’ve learned about the candidate’s goals, motivations, and pain points

Here’s how to sell the role effectively:
✅ Highlight the work – What makes the role exciting? How does their work impact the company? What’s the team culture like?
✅ Sell the location – Great schools, cost of living, lifestyle, or is it remote? Make it appealing!
✅ Sell the company – Industry leader? Fast-growing? Strong culture? Share what makes it special.
✅ Sell the benefits – Competitive salary, bonuses, relocation assistance, perks—highlight what matters most to them.
