Killjoy's Exploits: Rise of The Robots [Sega Genesis] (Invincibility Cheat Full Run)

KEP-8: This is a full run of the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive port of the infamous synthetica brawler "Rise of The Robots", this particular port only available in European territories. This version was never issued in the United States so most Americans have not played this under normal circumstances [excepting those who imported the cartridge from Europe or accessed the ROM through emulation purposes].

Contrary to popular belief, this Genesis port is possibly the best version of "Rise of The Robots" in existence - the limited controls handle better than the abysmal SNES port, the damage is more substantial than said SNES port and the fights aren't as much of a slog as the SNES version is. This also can be hacked to provide invincibility, unlike the 3DO version.

Plot-wise, the player controls a cyborg warrior [that strangely resembles the infamous Pepsiman] that must infiltrate a city hijacked by rogue Robots led by the Supervisor, a female robot infected with a nasty virus, and defeat them through the means of shoving his hand up their metallic backsides... Okay, slightly kidding - the Cyborg has to beat the crap out of six robot opponents: a forklift that knows kung-fu, an artificial ape, a can-opener on legs, a robotic version of Freddy Krueger, a man-sized Gundam mech and the Supervisor herself, who just so happens to be a female version of the T-1000 Terminator.

I used a hacking cheat code to provide me with Invincibility.

Player: Mile "The Killjoy" Sipka

Gameplay Recorded on: June 2024
