Luke 11:15
But some of them said, "He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons."

Luke 11:16
And others, to test Him, were demanding of Him a sign from heaven.

Luke 11:17
But He knew their thoughts, and said to them, "Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and a house divided against itself falls.

Luke 11:18
"And if Satan also is divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by Beelzebul.

Yeshua used impeccable logic. Why would Satan cast out his own from the people? He would be destroying his own kingdom.

Luke 11:19
"And if I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? Consequently they shall be your judges.

The term "Beelzebul" is a reference to Baal meaning "lord of life." It was a god of the Ekronites .

2 Kings 1:2 And Ahaziah fell through the lattice in his upper chamber which was in Samaria, and became ill. So he sent messengers and said to them, “Go, inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I shall recover from this sickness.”

For the Jews, it apparently became a reference to Satan. There is a reference to the others in Israel (probably the disciples and the seventy) who cast out demons. There were others also

Luke 9:49-50 And John answered and said, “Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name; and we tried to hinder him because he does not follow along with us.” 50But Jesus said to him, “Do not hinder him; for he who is not against you is for you.”

Yeshua said they will be their judges.
