Assassin's Creed Shadows Release FLOPS and Ubisoft is SCRAMBLING!

Assassin's Creed Shadows released and it's being touted as a success by Ubisoft, but the reality is much more grim. The struggling publisher claims over 1 Million players on day of launch, but only peaked at 41,412 players on Steam. It's possible that over 960,000 other players were on Xbox, PlayStation and Ubisoft Connect, but that seems wildly exaggerated or flat out cope. By the numbers available, it's tracking significantly behind Dragon Age: The Veilguard and fellow 2025 bomb Avowed.

But hey, at least VG247 thinks it's a perfect game, flaws and all!
