Rush E, But It's The Matrix Reloaded

The common story arc between Rush E and the fight scene between Neo and the Smith clones in The Matrix Reloaded had been sitting in front of me the whole time. I have a habit of watching my favourite videos ad nauseum, and I don't remember if I just happened to be watching these two close enough together that my brain started mixing the music from Rush E into this fight scene, but when it occurred to me that the rhythm of the notes of Rush E blended pretty nicely into some of the choreographed moves of this fight scene, I figured it might actually make a pretty great mashup for all to enjoy. But for some reason, it felt like it was missing something. A meaning. A message. A purpose. Something more than just mindless entertainment. This morning, it hit me: the reason these two fit so well together (in spite of the fact I had to chop about 5 minutes of footage from TMR) was that they both start off so softly, so gently, so non-threatening... but by the end, things have fully escalated so out of control that one is compelled to hit the eject button and be done with the matter. If that's the kind of day you've had today, my prayer for you is that you would know God's peace right now in your soul, even in your spirit. As Paul wrote to the Philippians, "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7) God bless.
