Coast Guard rescues dog

The U.S. Coast Guard in Sault Ste. Marie rescued a dog named Cujo from the Saint Mary’s River. Thursday morning the Northern Great Lakes Command Center received a call from local dispatch of a ‘dog stranded on the ice near the Soo Locks.’ The command center notified Station Sault Ste. Marie who responded with an ice rescue team. Cujo, was safely transported back to shore and was reunited with his owner. David Barr Michigan News Source.
