‘They’ll hate us for free’: Rep. Tim Burchett says Congress needs to stop US from funding Taliban

Representative Tim Burchett (R-TN) says House leadership needs to get the ball rolling and put forward his bill to stop U.S. aid from going to the Taliban. “They’ll hate us for free, John. We don’t need to be giving them any money,” he says. “Especially hard-working, American taxpayers’ money.”
