How to make Delectable Persimmon Pudding
If you need a new idea to use your ripe Persimmons, try this delectable Persimmon Pudding Recipe. Top each slice with a cloud of whipped Cream and enjoy.
Persimmon Pudding
Ingredients:
1-3/4 cups Persimmon Pulp
(peel & cut (remove Seeds if needed) ripe Persimmons, blend until smooth)
1-1/2 cups Flour, sifted
3/4 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Brown Sugar, packed
2 Eggs, roomtemp
1/2 cup Milk, roomtemp
3 tbsp Butter, melted
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Vanilla
Preheat Oven 350° F
Grease Baking Dish (8x11,5x2")
Combine Flour, Sugar, Brown Sugar, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Nutmeg, Cinnamon and Salt.
Set aside.
Combine Eggs, Milk, Vanilla, Persimmon Pulp and Butter.
Add dry Ingredients to wet Ingredients.
Combine well.
Pour Batter in prepared Dish.
Bake 55 - 60 Minutes.
Until tester comes out clean.
Cool on Wire Rack.
Enjoy!
