When you get down on yourself or think you failed say this to yourself.....

It's okay.

I can handle this.

When you think nothing is going right and you need immediate relief tell yourself...

"I love you"

"We can get through this"

I knew exactly what to eat to get shredded as I gained 70 lb in my '30s.

But that wasn't the problem.

I stopped building myself in the places that mattered most.

Mentally, emotionally, spiritually....

Then when the chaos of life came, knowing how many grams of protein, carbs, and fat did me little good.

I knew I shouldn't drink that glass of whiskey as I filled up the cup.

I knew I shouldn't stop at McDonald's on my lunch break as I was ordering.

What I didn't know how to do was sit in discomfort.

Remain strong in the chaos.

Be the lighthouse.

Build yourself from the inside out.
